Saddlery-online is the online trading name of Saddle Up Ltd (situated in Ardrossan, Ayrshire).
Sadly, we do not ship outwith the UK at present time or to EU countries. We do NOT ship to Northern or Southern Ireland.
Online Shopping
This is a very easy process. Just browse through our products, adding any items you wish to buy into your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping, simply click on the 'Checkout' option. You will then be asked for the details that we require in order to complete your purchase.
Purchases are made via a secure server.
We accept payment by Visa, Visa Electron, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Mastercard, Delta, American Express and various others (accepted forms of payment can be viewed at http://www.sagepay.com/). If you are unsure about ordering on-line, please call us on 01294 469999, or email us from the website for any specific purchase related query.
We regret we do not dispatch to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland or overseas locations.
Credit Card Security
We use Sagepay. Sagepay provide secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across the UK.
All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Sagepay Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sagepay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Order Confirmation
When you receive your confirmation of order email this indicates that we have received your order. We will of course then ensure that the precise items you have chosen, or the manufacturers 'subject to alteration' version is in stock, at the price, colour and size you have specified.
In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We regret that as a process of continual updating and manufacturing processes instigated by the Manufacturer, your goods may be subject to alteration and Saddlery-online cannot accept responsibility for any such changes.
Non-Stock Items
If any item you have chosen to purchase is not in stock, we will contact you.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch items the as soon as possible and we will try to dispatch items either 'sameday' or within 2 - 7 working days. We reserve the right to supply up to 28 days and will keep you informed of any delays due to unavailability of stock and the anticipated delivery date. Delivery dates are given in good faith but our suppliers can give optimistic or incorrect delivery dates.
Postage & Packaging costs are calculated automatically at £5.00 at the time of completing your on-line purchase. Delivery to Great Britain (mainland) is basic charge of £5.00 up to a weight of 10 Kgs. A delivery surcharge may be applied to the following postcodes and we will contact you with a delivery quotation prior to completion/dispatch of your order:

We cannot accept any liability for strike action, industrial action or any other similar dispute which delays our ability to dispatch your goods in the timescales provided.
Our responsibility for delivery of your purchased goods ceases when the carrier has notified the addressee that a delivery attempt has been made, if you are not available to accept your purchase. The payment for the goods and the receipt thereof, unless faulty, constitutes completion of the purchase transaction.
The majority of our parcels are posted by DPD and they may charge an excess over and above the £5.00 for delivering to certain areas (i.e. Scottish Highlands and Islands). Where this is the case, we will email you with a quote for the excess postage charge required. This additional amount is not charged at the time of your order, but will be require to be paid prior to dispatch.
Other items will be posted by Royal Mail. If the goods are retained at the Post Office for uplift, they must be collected within 7 days. If the goods are returned to us by the Post Office we reserve the right to pass any additional postage charges to you. We are unable to offer a Saturday delivery service. Bank/Post Office/Royal Mail/Contract Carrier holidays can cause a short delay to delivery times.
For security reasons, we do require a signature on delivery. If you are not going to be home, we would ask that you provide an alternative delivery address on your order (ie work address, etc) where someone will be able to sign for the delivery. Please note ** Our Courier will not leave items where no one is home - items cannot be left in a safe place.
Where items leave us and delivery is attempted more than once, the courier reserves the right to return the item to us if no contact has been made by yourself to arrange alternative delivery times, etc. Where the item is returned to us (and delivery has been attempted on at least one occasion) we will refund the order minus the original delivery charge as delivery has been attempted.
Returns Policy
We may exchange goods but only if the packaging and labels are intact and the item is still in brand new condition (we may apply a charge to items that are returned with removed lbes or damaged packing). If you wish to obtain a replacement product or a refund, the goods must be returned within 28 days, with labels and packaging intact, as delivered. We regret we cannot meet your postage costs in these circumstances. We cannot refund postal charges incurred by you.
* * Riding Hats * * Unfortunately, we do not accept riding hats as a return, due to them being a safety item. Please email for more info as required.
If items are being returned due to a defect, we reserve the right to return the item to the manufacturer for inspection/testing. This may cause a slight delay of a few days should we have to return the item to the manufacturer. Where items are deemed not to be faulty, we do not accept liability for the cost of return postage back to you.
If the goods are deemed to be faulty or defective it is your responsibility to return the goods intact, as detailed above. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning goods. Proof of Postage should be obtained as customers are responsible for the returned goods until received by Saddle Up Ltd. We cannot offer a goods uplift service.
Generally, goods are checked at our premises prior to dispatch. If the item is not to your liking, we will refund your payment or replace the item. We regret we cannot pay your postage costs in these circumstances. For a refund or exchange you must return the goods to us, in the same packaging and in the same condition as that which they were received.
If the goods are received by you in damaged condition, you must advise us within 4 days of receipt of goods. Specification of goods via our website is such that although every attempt has been made to accurately display the correct colour, shape and size of the items, exact reproduction is not always possible.
ITEMS PURCHASED FROM WITHIN OUR STOCK CLEARANCE SECTION MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 14 WORKING DAYS OF THE DATE OF RECEIVING THEM.
Manufacturers reserve the right to supply goods that may differ in colour and design from that displayed on our website. Consequently, goods supplied to us by a manufacturer may change slightly from the items on our website.
Any items which you return to us must be in the same condition as that which they were received. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 permits our operatives to refuse to handle or accept soiled goods.
Please note that riding hats are safety items and once they are unpacked from the manufacturers' packing are excluded from your Right to Cancel. Once these items are correctly and safely delivered they cannot be returned simply because they do not fit or you do not like the style. Once the item has been safely delivered to you the care of it is outside of our control. We do not supply used safety items such as Riding Hats.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important to us.
We will not pass your details to any other party, other than, of course, any postal service we use for the purpose of delivering your goods.
Other than this, your details are completely private - our Database of customers is maintained for the sole use of Saddlery-online/Saddle Up Ltd.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 20.0% VAT is included in the final price. There is no VAT on children's clothes, boots, hats etc.
